Central is meeting in person, in the Sanctuary. The service is broadcast on Hometowne TV in Summit, NJ, live streamed on our YouTube channel. Previous videos are also available on the channel.
WAVE – Select Sundays
A non-traditional worship service, featuring a wide variety of contemporary music covering folk, gospel, singer-songwriter, popular, and modern contemporary Christian songs, under the musical direction of Adam Gilbert. Held outdoors during the summer, during the cooler months WAVE is in the Auditorium at 5:00 p.m. on the following Sundays:

Choir Groups & Schedules

Descriptions and schedules are detailed below—if you would like to try any of these groups, simply show up for rehearsal. Although it is encouraged, weekly commitments are not mandatory.
Groups led by Dr. Charity Wicks
VESPER BELLS
An adult bell choir that participates in the 10 am service once every two months, as well as at other special services. A wide range of music is covered, including bell solos, pieces with piano and choir, and hymn accompanying. Previous bell ringing experience is recommended, but not required.
*rehearses Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. weekly in the Sanctuary
CHILDREN’S CHOIR
A children’s choir for grades 1-5 that meets weekly during the school year to learn about, create and rehearse all kinds of music, and participates in the 10 am service once every two months.
*rehearses Sundays from 11:00 a.m. – 11;30 a.m. in the Music Studio
ANGEL CHOIR
A special children’s choir for Pre-K-K, which will rehearse when announced for both Christmas and spring services.
*rehearses specified Sundays from 11:00-11:20 a.m. in the Sanctuary
MEN’S CHOIR
The Men’s Choir will participate in special services throughout the year, and it will be announced ahead of time.
MOTET CHOIR
An adult vocal choir that participates weekly in the 10 am service, as well as at other special services. This choir covers a broad range of choral repertoire, including baroque, classical & romantic works, to gospel, folk and contemporary anthems.
*rehearses Thursdays from 7:30-9:00 p.m. weekly in the Choir Room
PICK-UP CHOIR
Occasional Sundays throughout the year will be designated as Pick-up Choir Sundays, where no previous rehearsal is necessary except that Sunday morning, and the music will be fun and easily accessible for all! Keep an eye on the bulletin and weekly church email for these dates as they arise.

CRASHING GIANTS (grades 6-8)
This group will have a fun indie feel to it combining driving percussive elements with spirited vocals to make for a vibrant modern sound!

HIGH SCHOOL PRAISE GROUP
This group will cover a wide range of repertoire ranging from full praise band to individual solos covering everything from indie, folk, pop, gospel, reggae, jazz, singer-songwriter and contemporary Christian music. Take advantage of the opportunity to work with Adam. The last album he produced was for Mara Davi who is on the TV show Smash playing the roll of Daisy!

ADULT PRAISE BAND
Similar to the High School Praise group but with a little more wisdom under their belts this group will cover a wide range of repertoire ranging from full praise band to individual solos covering everything from indie, folk, pop, reggae, gospel, jazz, singer-songwriter and contemporary Christian music.
